First, if you work for a mildly bad boss, remember that as the boss, they can do things their way, as long as it's not illegal, immoral, or unsafe. If you find yourself in this situation, be careful about moving on, as you could land in a much worse place.

Second. If you work for a bad boss, then move on. But in a controlled way that maximizes your chance of landing a better job.

And third, if you find yourself working for that really bad boss. Let someone above the boss know what's going on and then get out of there fast if nothing's done about the problem. Never get involved with this bad boss's actions.
